Lucille Louise Picard, 87, of Church Street, Greenville, died Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Fatima Hospital. She was the widow of Henry A. Picard.
Born in Montreal, Canada she was a daughter of the late Hermas & Louisa (Bellefleur) Letourneau. She had been a resident of Greenville for 60 years.
She had worked at the former St. Aloysius Home for 18 years before retiring.
She was an active member of the Greenville Manor Tenants Association. Her enjoyment in life came from spending time with her family, playing cards with her friends and her home.
She was the loving mother of Russell Picard of Peterborough, NH, Nancy Picard of South Dartmouth, MA, Martha Johnson of Harrisville, Norman Picard and Marie Innarelli both of Cumberland, a loving grandmother of eleven and a loving great grandmother of eight. She was predeceased by seven siblings.
A Mass of Chrisitian Burial will be held Tuesday at 9:30 am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Private burial. Visitation respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to RI Food Bank 200 Niantic Avenue, Providence, RI 02907.
