Obituary

Phayboun Sayasit, 60, of Glaude Lane, Woonsocket, died Saturday, October 3rd, at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Khay (Keomala) Sayasit.
Born in Laos, he came to the United States in 1982 and was a resident of Woonsocket since 1995.
Mr. Sayasit worked as a machinist for Comm. Train Corp. and other local companies for many years before retiring.
Phayboun enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. He was a loving husband and father and a dedicated grandfather.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Tom Sayasit of Woonsocket, four daughters, Nou S. Fuerte of CA., and Khamphou, Bounnhun, and Somphone Sayasit, all of Woonsocket. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and a brother in Laos.
His funeral services will be Saturday beginning at 8:00 am in the Menard Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Following services the funeral procession will proceed to Swan Point Cemetery, Blackstone Blvd., Providence. Visiting hours are Friday from 5-8 pm.
