JANICE ROSS CULLINGS died at her Spring Street home in Hingham on October 4, 2009. The cause was breast cancer. She was 64. Born in Lima, Ohio Mrs. Cullings grew up in Edina, MN. She received a BA in Political Science at Skidmore College, Saratoga, NY. She and her family have lived in Hingham since 1979.
She is survived by her husband Mark; two daughters Carolyn and Lauren, both of South Boston; her mother Margaret, of Naples FL; and a sister, Marilyn of Knoxville, TN.
Mrs. Cullings was devoted to her family and friends. She was active in the Hingham community and was a member of the Garden Club of Hingham. She cherished time with her family and playing bridge or walking with her many friends.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at The Old Ship Meetinghouse, 90 Main St., Hingham, MA on Tuesday, October 13th at 4 PM. A reception at Old Derby Acadamy, 34 Main St. will follow.
