Mr. Lacy Vernon Reynolds, 80, of McDonough, died Sunday, October 4, 2009.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, October 10 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 25 Moseley Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281with Bishop Daniel Hanekamp officiating. Interment will at 4:00 P.M. in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 Friday evening at Haisten Funeral Home one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
Mr. Reynolds was born in Franklin County, Alabama to the late Harvey Lee and Lettie Elois Arthur Reynolds. He was a former resident of Fitzgerald. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. Mr. Reynolds had been a teacher, a principal and was in the insurance business for many years. He had a passion for horses.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Reynolds of McDonough; children, Randy “Lacy” Reynolds and his wife, Kathy Seaton Reynolds of Conyers, Rebekah Reynolds of McDonough, Ashley Reynolds of Jackson; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, LaVane Reynolds.
