BOYLSTON

Robert F. Doyle, 83, of Boylston died Monday, October 5 in UMASS Medical Center.
His wife, Dorothy E. (Dee) Doyle died in 1996. He leaves a daughter, Pamela A. Moore of Boylston; a brother, Richard P. Doyle of Worcester; two grand-daughters, Sandra Moore and Sheryl Moore and a great grandchild, Samia Welch. A brother, William Doyle, predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Andrew and Helen (Wheeler) Doyle and graduated from Commerce High School. He was a Navy Veteran, serving as a radio operator during WWII and the Korean War.
Robert was a supervisor in the equipment installition department for New England Telephone Company for 26 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of St. Mary of the Hill Church and the West Boylston Veterans of Wars Post #6907.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, October 7 from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston St., West Boylston with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Mary of the Hill Church, 630 Cross St. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
