Hubbard, Judith M. (Staples) , of Marshfield, died peacefully and serenely at Wingate at Silver Lake, under the care and supervision of the caring and loving staff on October 3 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Frederick G. Hubbard of Marshfield, daughter of the late Fred L. and Althea (Fifield) Staples. Dear mother of Jeffrey Hubbard and his wife Leslie, James Hubbard and his fiancée Laurie, Jay Hubbard and his wife Carolyn all of Marshfield. Loving grandmother of Bradley, Timothy, Allison, Ashley, Casey, Jocelyn, Joel and Zachary. Dear sister of Natalie Henderson, Fred L. Staples, Jr., Donal Staples, Gloria Peterson, Cynthia Josselyn and the late Winifred Peterson and Selwyn Staples. Also survived by daughter-in-law Karen Hubbard and several nephews and nieces.
Judy was a life-long resident of Marshfield and graduated from Marshfield High School, class of l95l. She was an outstanding athlete at Marshfield High School.
Visiting hours at the MacDonald Funeral Home, l755 Ocean St., rte. l39, Marshfield on Tuesday, October 6 from 4 to 8 p.m.
A Funeral service will be held at the First Congregational Church, l98l Ocean St. Marshfield on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
A family interment service at Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury will be at a later date.
