Obituary

METHUEN – Robert W. Graham 82 of Methuen died peacefully Saturday morning October 3, 2009 at his home in Methuen.
Born and educated in Lowell MA, son of John and Mary (Connolly) Graham. He was a proud graduate of Keith Academy in Lowell. During World War II he served in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharge. For 42 years he was a compositor with the Lowell Sun located in Lowell, MA. For many years he was a volunteer at Bread and Roses in Lawrence.

He is survived by his wife Claire (O’Leary) Graham, sisters-in-law Helen Graham, Marilyn Kenney and her husband Martin, Sheila Kennedy and her husband William.
Robert will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews, Robert and David Weybright, Thomas Graham, Sandra and Tim Gallagher, Martin and Roslyn Kenney, William and Karen Kenney, Michael and Sherry Kenney, Timothy and Cari Kenney, Julie and Stephen Green, William Kennedy, Kathleen Kennedy and David Goodman.
Robert was pre-deceased by his brothers John and Arthur Graham.
Arrangements: Memorials can be made to Bread and Roses 58 Newbury Street Lawrence, MA 01843, or to St. Monica’s St. Vincent de Paul Society 212 Lawrence Street Lawrence, MA 01844. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00a.m. at St. Monica’s Church in Methuen. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
