TEWKSBURY - Mrs. Frances (Cocco) Papaleo, 81, died Monday morning, Jan. 14, at theBlairehouse of Tewksbury’s rehabilitation center. She was the wife of Anthony F. Papaleo, withwhom she had celebrated a 61st wedding anniversary this past July 7th.
She was born in Charlestown, a daughter of the late Tito and Susan Mary (Iacoviello) Cocco, buthad resided in Tewksbury for the past 44 years.
She was a communicant of St. William’s Parish in Tewksbury.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia and her husbandWalter Marcinkewich of Tewksbury, Jeanette Friedman of Billerica, a son-in-law, WarrenAnderson of Somerville, two sisters, Phyllis Reid of Woburn, Eleanor “Lee” Bartlett of Pelham,NH, a sister-in-law, Carol Cocco of Tewksbury, 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She was also mother of the late Joseph Papaleo who died in 1987, and Marie Anderson who diedlast July.
Her Funeral Mass was held Thursday, Jan. 17, in St. William’s Church, followed by interment in Tewksbury Cemetery.
