Obituary

DRACUT - Caroline A. (Grzesik) Beauregard, 77, a lifelong resident of Dracut, passed away peacefully under the care of VNA Hospice of Greater Lowell on Thursday, October 1st, at D'Youville Senior Care after a courageous battle with Cancer and Parkinson's Disease.

She was born in Lowell on May 19, 1932, and was the daughter of the late Anthony and Evelyn (Dubiel) Grzesik. She received her education in the Dracut School System and was a graduate of Dracut High School. She had been employed by Heinze Electric Co., and after their closing she transferred to Merrimack Magnetics where she worked as a supervisor for many years until her retirement in 1997.

In her free time she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles as well as feeding and watching the birds at the feeders in her yard. She especially enjoyed being a special "Auntie" to her grand nieces and nephews affectionally known as "THE KIDS. " She was also like a second mother to Stephen and Donna.

She was married to the late Warren W. Beauregard who passed away in 1991, Her survivors include two sisters, Helen Cook and her husband Schuble of Dracut and Barbara Carrigg and her husband Raymond of Burlington, MA. Nieces and nephews, Stephen Hamelin and his wife Kimberly and Donna Falsey and her husband Richard, all of Dracut, Elizabeth Haigh and her husband Robert of Burlington, Robert Carrigg of Charlestown, and Stephanie Carrigg of Chelsea. Also her very "special kids" Elysia, Ryan, and Corey Hamelin, Sean and Brendan Falsey and Sarah Haigh.

She was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish in Dracut.


Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Sunday from 2 until 6 PM. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday at 10 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11 AM at Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Church in Dracut. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Lowell. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Michael J.
