Rita Ann (Hamilton) Collatos - Of Walpole, formerly of Dedham. Beloved wife of the late Angelo N. Collatos. Died peacefully on September 28, surrounded by her family, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Denise C. and Russell K. Garlick of Needham. Also survived by her daughters Paula H. Pedroli and her husband Richard of Norwood and Donna M. Collins and her husband Philip of Walpole, and her son Brian A. Collatos and his wife Patricia of Franklin. She was dearly loved by thirteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and twenty-five nieces and nephews. She was the dear sister of Eleanor Connolly and her husband Thomas, and the late Edward (BPD), Robert (BFD) and Warren Hamilton. She was the beloved sister-in-law of Evanthea Condakes and her husband Leo, Jacqueline Collatos, Peter, George, and the late Charles N. Collatos. Known for her graciousness and dignity, she will be affectionately remembered by her family and many friends as "the elegant lady with the beautiful hats."
Funeral from the P.E. Murray-George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, Friday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Susanna’s Church, Dedham, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
