Obituary

MORRISSEY, Michael F. Of South Natick, formerly of Media, PA, died on September 26, 2009. He was the loving husband of Charlene (Maguire) Morrissey. Born in Boston, March 27, 1940, he was the son of the late Charles and Barbara (Cook) Morrissey, and raised in Newton Centre. Beloved father of Erin Youngblood and husband Scott of St. Petersburg, FL and Candace Paquin and husband Christopher of Weston. He was the cherished grandfather of Michael, William and Carolyn Paquin. Michael is survived by his sisters Barbara Guilfoy of So. Weymouth, Claire Ostrander of WA and Mary Morrissey of Quincy and predeceased by Charles of CA, Joan Ojerholm of Needham and Maureen Mano of No. Andover. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Mary Z. Maguire, Sister-in-law Suzanne and her husband Robert Skolnick and brother-in-law Lawrence all of Wellesley Hills. Michael attended Sacred Heart High School and Boston College. He spent his career at Coca-Cola, Great Bear Water Company in Philadelphia and was currently the Senior Sales Director of ABM of Somerville. Michael loved being at home with his family. He will be fondly remembered for his love of gardening and nature and was happiest outdoors. He especially loved his dogs over the years. He was a member of the BOMA organization and Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary, Mass Audubon Society. Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., WELLESLEY, Saturday, Oct. 3, from 8:30-10:45 AM. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Paul's Church, Wellesley, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery, So. Natick. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Mary Ann Morse Nursing & Rehab Employee Fund, 45 Union St., Natick, MA 01760 or Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary, Mass Audubon Society, 280 Eliot St., So. Natick, MA 01760.
