Conrad A. Rogers, 82, of Derry, NH died Wednesday August 20, 2003 at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry following a brief illness. He was born in Hillsboro, New Brunswick, Canada on August 20, 1921, a son of the late Harvey and Lottie (Mullens) Rogers. He was a resident of Derry since 1996, formerly living in Londonderry, NH. He was employed as a shipper for H.P. Hood Co. for 20 years, retiring in 1978. He was employed as a shipper for Centronics in Hudson for eight years . He worked part-time with Treasuremasters in Derry. He was a member of St. Luke’s Untied Methodist Church in Derry. He was predeceased by his wife Violet E. (Farrar) Rogers in 1995.
He is survived by two sons, Leslie Rogers and his wife Linda of Gloucester, MA, Vaughn Rogers and his wife Jane of Auburn, NH, one daughter, Lynda D. Gianopoulos and her husband Michael of Merrimack, NH, four granddaughters, two great grandsons, one brother, Lloyd Rogers of New Brunswick, Canada, one sister, Doris Rogers of New Brunswick, Canada, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday August 23rd at 10:00am at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 63 E. Broadway, Derry. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry. Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry on Friday from 6 - 9 pm. The family requests that memorial contributions in Conrad’s memory be made to St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 63 E. Broadway, Derry, NH 03038.
