Webster/Athol, Yolande B.(Demers)Raymond 74, of 22 Lakeside Ave,died peacefully,Wednesday,September 23,2009 while staying at her son's home in Athol,after a long battle with cancer.
She is predeceased by her husband,Camille F."Chippy"Raymond who died in 2002.
She leaves three sons,Paul F.Raymond and his wife Rita of Phoenix,AZ;Jeffrey L.Raymond and his wife Denise of Athol;Steven L.Raymond and his wife Jennie of Webster.She also leaves four grand-daughters and two grandsons.She also leaves one brother,Jospeh Z.Demers of Statesville,NC;two sisters;Gisele Vickroy of Lisbon,Ct.,and Sr. Florence Demers of Butler,WI.
Yolande was born Putnam,Ct.,daughter ofthe late Armand and Helena Demers and lived in Webster most of her life.
She retired as a bakery clerk in 2003 after 18 years of dedicated service at Price Chopper Supermarkets of Webster.
She loved arts and crafts and was an avid seamstress.Her passion for sewing,quilting and machine embroidery was well displayed in her work.
A Funeral Mass for Yolande will be at 10:30AM ,Saturday,October 3,2009 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church,16 East Main St.,Webster.Burial will be in St.Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Friday,October 2,2009 from 6 to 8 PM at the Robert J. Miller Funeral Home and Lake Chapel,366 School St.,Webster.
