Obituary

WORCESTER__Anthony Robert Caruso, 56, of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly and serenely on Wednesday September 23rd at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Mr.Caruso was born in Newton, MA, the son of Michael and Mariannina Caruso. He leaves his cherished wife of 26 years, Nancy Elizabeth (Dawidcyzk) Caruso, his two precious daughters, Amanda Marie Caruso and Linda Rose Caruso, his mother, Mariannina Caruso of Newton, two siblings, J. Michael Caruso of Framingham, and Dominic Caruso of Newton, his sister-in-law, Diane Blessing, many nieces, nephews and cousins whom he loved and treasured, as well as his dear friend John Murphy, whose company he greatly enjoyed.
He was a graduate of Our Lady’s High School in Newton Massachusetts. He attended American University in Washington D.C for several years, then began work for the Central Intelligence Agency where he was employed for seven years. He relocated back to Massachusetts to begin work for Caruso Brothers Landscaping Incorporated, the company owned and operated by his brothers. Mr. Caruso was an avid reader, and a history buff. He specifically enjoyed reading books about the Civil War. Above all, he enjoyed sharing stories and spending time in the company of his family. We loved him and we will miss always and forever.
The funeral will be held Monday, September 28, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. John Church, 40 Temple St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home will be on Sunday, September 27, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
