T.M. Clark, 90, of Fitzgerald, died Thursday, September 24, 2009, at Lewis Smith Hospital in Lakeland, Georgia.
Funeral Services will be held 2:30 P.M., Sunday, September 27 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Dr. Skip Van Nus officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
Mr. Clark was born May 13, 1919 in Rochelle, Georgia to the late Arnold B. and Eulala Mullis Clark. He resided with his sister in Lakeland for the past seven years from Fitzgerald. Mr. Clark was a retired operating engineer on a dredge. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the D.A.V. Mr. Clark was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sister, Betty Latham of Lakeland; step-children, Marie Baca of Valdosta, Johnny Kirkland of Hialeah, Fl, Claude Kirkland and Frank Kirkland, both of Goldsboro, NC and Barbara Clark of Rochelle; 13 step-grandchildren and 20 step-great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Hilton Clark. 4 sisters and 1 brother.
