BEVERLY: Gail C. (Dobson) Turgeon Page, 65, died peacefully on Thursday, September 24, 2009 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of Catherine R. (McKennon) Dobson of Salem and the late Elmer W. Dobson. She was a graduate of Peabody High School and was employed at CPI for 27 years before her retirement.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She spent many hours volunteering at various local organizations.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her three children, Arthur W. Turgeon, Jr. and his wife, Katie of Allenstown, NH, Brian K. Turgeon and his wife, Luciana of Beverly, and Christine M. Thivierge and her husband, Daniel of Warren, RI, her grandchildren Cadence Turgeon, Brianna Turgeon, Brian K. Turgeon, Jr., and Jordan Thivierge, her brother, Richard Dobson of Salem, her sister, Nancy Keane and her husband, Lt. Col. John "Jack" Keane of Mission Viejo, CA, three step-children, Thomas Page, Jr. and his wife, Jeanne, Daniel Page and his fiancée, Bernadette Foss, and Kimberly Nichols and her husband, Tucker, step-grandchildren, Richard Page, Samantha Page, Tiffany Page, Danielle Page, Angela Nichols, Ashley Nichols, and Kaitlin Nichols. She was also predeceased by her brother, Robert Dobson.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 2nd in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 253 Cabot Street, Beverly at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street, Beverly from 4 – 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan Street, Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923. Interment will be held in the Central Cemetery, Beverly.
