Joseph L. Giordano, age 96, of Salem, NH, died Wednesday Sept. 23rd at St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua, NH.
He was born in Boston, MA, grew up and was educated in Italy, and Boston’s North End. Joe was a resident of Salem for the past 31 years, formerly of Medford, MA.
Joe was a shoe maker for Sportscraft in Somerville, MA. He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem, NH. Joe was a US Army veteran, serving during World War II and he was a member of the VFW Post in Medford, MA. He enjoyed playing cards, especially poker, and trips to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. Joe was an avid Boston sports fan, especially the Red Sox. Most of all Joe loved spending time with his daughter, and adored his granddaughter.

Granddaughter: Ashley & her husband Michael Conley of Goffstown, NH
Sister: Giselda (Giordano) of Italy
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Sept. 28th at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford, MA.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, Sept. 27th from 2-5 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
