Concetta M. (Ternullo) Correnti 82 years, of Brockton, died unexpectedly Tuesday September 22, 2009 at Tufts Medical Center. She was the beloved wife for 62 years of Antonio L. Correnti.
Mrs. Correnti was born and raised in the West End of Boston a daughter of the late Filipe and Maria (Tringale) Ternullo and had been a resident of Brockton since 1958. She had worked for 30 years in the cafeteria of the Brookfield School in Brockton.
Concetta enjoyed sewing, playing cards and was an avid New England sports fan. She had also been a longtime communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. She will always be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her three children John Correnti and his wife Marguerite of Sagamore Beach; Maria Baldwin of Plymouth wife of the late George and Lisa Correnti and her husband James Anas of Arlington. She was the grandmother of Anthony and Phillip Correnti, Tricia Mahoney, Tony and Marissa Baldwin and Andrew Barter. She also leaves 2 great grandchildren and was the sister of Frances Danieli of Marshfield; Josephine Lamonica of Port Richie, FL; Anna Regolino of Tewksbury and the late Guy, John, Dominic, Salvatore and Frank Ternullo, Mary Daniels and Margaret Sambuco.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 11 am. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 12:45 pm. Visiting hours Sunday 2-5 pm.
