Alick McArthur Douglas, 58 years of Brockton died suddenly Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Signature Healthcare-Brockton Hospital. He was born in Dominica, West Indies, the son of Doreen (Jones) Clunes and the late Clayton Douglas. Alick immigrated to United States in 1978 and settled in Dorchester before moving to Brockton in 1989. He worked as a Quality Control Inspector for Amphenol Alden Products, Brockton for eight years. Alick enjoyed watching all kinds of movies, listening to West Indian music, but most of all spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Claudia (Fancillia) Douglas, a daughter Agatha Douglas-Pusey of Dorchester; a grandson Marley Pusey; Say-Yid Blanc and Damali Blanc; his mother in law, Jennifer Blanc; 5 brothers, Baden Williams, Randell, Walcott, Barrington and Derickson Clunes and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Visiting hours Friday 5-8pm.
