Christy Irene Morris, 99, Clarksville, died Monday, September 21, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1 PM Friday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Brother Robert Allen VIck officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born October 2, 1909 in Trigg County, KY daughter of the late Bradley Joiner and Clemantime Hester Joiner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Norman Morris, a son Danny Wayne Morris and a daughter Linda Ann Mattes. Ms. Morris was a member of South Clarksville Church of Christ. Survivors include a son Russell Boyd Morris, three grandchildren, Carl Douglas Mattes, Dana Wayne Morris, and Shawn Ryan Morris, and three great-grandchildren.
