John J. Preziosi passed away on September 20, 2009 at the Soldiers Home in Chelsea. He was 92 years old.
Born and raised in East Boston, John moved to the Upper Highlands in Medford where he lived for 30 years. He has been a resident of the Soldiers Home in Chelsea for the past 20 years. John, along with his dad and brother, owned and operated Brooks St. Meat Market in East Boston for over 30 years. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII spending a lot of time in Germany and was a member of the 548th Field Artillery Battalion.
John was the son of the late Angelo and Colomba (Festa) Preziosi. He is survived by his siblings Mary Serra of Medford, Anthony Preziosi of Medford and the late Alfonso, Americo “Mac” and Andrew Preziosi. John is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday, September 23rd at 11:00 a.m. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
