Obituary

Claire M. Landry-Ouellette (Hackett) age 89 of Canton passed away September 19th at the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton. Born and raised in Boston, she attended Boston Schools and worked as a Nurses Aid on the South Shore. She was a member of the Grey Panthers where she advocated for the elderly and also worked with Eliot Richardson on Nursing Home reform. She was an Amateur Ballroom Dancer and played the Harmonica. Beloved wife of the late Patrick Landry & Eddie Ouellette. Mother of Paulette Landry of Plymouth, Richard Landry formerly of Milton of S.C. & the late Lawrence Landry. Grandmother of Benjamin Landry of San Diego. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday 6-9 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Saturday morning at 10:30. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Habitat For Humanity of Greater Plymouth P.O. Box 346 Carver, MA 02330.
The family will have a time to remember Claire at 8 pm at the visiting hours. They will invite anyone who wishes to share a memory of Claire at that time.
