MANCHESTER-Therese J. St. Germain, 84, died September 20, 2009 at the Catholic Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born in St. Clothilde de Horton, PQ, the daughter of Henri and Sylvia (Lemire) Lahaie and had been a resident of this city for many years.
She was a member of St. Jean Baptiste Church, now Parish of the Transfiguration, the Catholic War Veterans Ladies Auxillary Post 1624, Presentation of Mary Lay Associates, the parish Bereavement Committee, St. Anne Sodality and a volunteer in multiple organizations.
She was predeceased by her husband Edouard A. St. Germain, November 26, 1983.
Members of her family include two sons, Marc St. Germain and his wife Marie, Guy St. Germain and his wife Anne Marie, four daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Marguerite) Pilotte of Manchester, Mrs. Daniel (Gisele) Boudette of Pembroke, Mrs. Jeff ( Lu ) Hurley of Hudson and Lise St. Germain of Watertown, MA., sixteen grandchildren Matthew and his wife Kate Manning Pilotte, Aaron Pilotte, Danielle Pilotte, Justine Boudette, Tamara Boudette, Angela Bossio, Laura St. Germain, Anthony St. Germain, Peter St. Germain, Zachary Hurley, Ethan Hurley, Marissa St. Germain, Aimee St. Germain, Jacob St. Germain, David St. Germain and Maria St. Germain.
She also leaves four brothers, Maurice Lahaie, Jean Paul Lahaie, Philippe Lehaie, Andre Lahaie, three sisters Cecile LeBlanc, Marguerite Joyale and Lise Provencher all of P.Q., Canada and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICES:Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 at the J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 AM in the Parish of the Transfiguration. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery .
