Agnes V. A. (Pierce) Pearson, 88, of Westport passed away Sunday, September 20, 2009 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was wife of the late James F. Pearson.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Albert and Estelle (Savoie) Pierce, she had lived in Westport since 1951. Mrs. Pearson was a Communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport. She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Morrisette Post # 145. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include 4 daughters: Virginia Souza of E. Providence, RI, Estelle Proulx of Westport, Linda Pacheco of Westport and Betty Maciulewiez of Shrewsbury, MA; a brother: Norman Pierce of Westport; a sister: Eleanor Lucas of Westport; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter;and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from the Potter Funeral Home at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Tuesday 5 - 8 P.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
