Faye K. Schanck, 65, of Derry, NH, died Saturday, August 16, 2003. She was born in Derry on March 28, 1938 a daughter of the late Fayette W. and Martha G. (Higgins) Kezer. She was a lifelong resident of Derry and Auburn, NH. She was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, Class of 1956 and a graduate of Hesser College with an associates degree in business. She was a homemaker for most of her life. Faye had a great love of animals and was involved with animal rescue, placement of homeless animals and the Feline Friends. She was involved in the Christian faith and was recently involved in bible study.
She is survived by two daughters, Martha Webster and her husband Gary of Greenland, NH, Denise Dexter of Derry, three grandsons, Jordan Webster, Brendan Webster, Randy Schanck, two brothers, Carl Kezer of Derry, James Kezer and his wife Norma of Derry, and one sister, Edith Moody and her husband Murray of Londonderry.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 21st at 10:00 at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. The burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8.
