Vincenzo “Jimmy” D´Alleva, 68 of Medford formerly of the North End of Boston died Saturday after a long illness in the Brigham And Women's Hospital Boston, MA.
Born in Orsogna, Italy, he was the son of the late Antonio and Maria Nicola (Parlatore) D´Alleva. Mr. D’Alleva retired in 1998 after working many years as a Foreman with the former Vappi Construction Company Co. Vincenzo was a longtime member of Local 151 in Cambridge and a member of the Orsogna Club of Everett.
Vincenzo is survived by his wife Maddalena (D'Angelo) D´Alleva of Medford. Father of Anthony “Tony” D´Alleva and his wife Lisa of Melrose, Pasqualino “Patsy” D´Alleva and his fiance Linda of Medford. Grandfather of Charlie D'Alleva. Brother of Vittorio D'Alleva of Argentina, Maddalena Parlatore of Orsogna, Italy, and the late Maria Saraceni, Luigi, Salvatore and Fillipo D'Alleva.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday at 9 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden the Rev. Richard J. Mehm officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
Friends may visit Wednesday and Thursday from 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
