Obituary

Mrs. Caroline T. (Grusheck) Gallagher, 79, a resident of Methuen, MA., passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.

She was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on October 3rd, 1929 to the late Michael and Mary (Dzuiba) Grusheck. Caroline attended the Tarbox Grammar School and later was a graduate of Lawrence High School.

She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church in Lawrence, MA.

She worked for the Pacific Mills, for the Boston Ship Yard where she met her husband, the Internal Revenue Service and she was an Assistant Manager to the Jade Tree Jewelers in the old Methuen Mall.

Caroline was an avid reader, she enjoyed gardening, her jewelry and antiques, she loved doing crossword puzzles, Attending Plays and The Boston Pops concerts. Caroline enjoyed going to Mohegan Sun and mostly she enjoyed special times with her family which was the biggest part of her life.

Caroline's family mentioned that she was a Bo Bice Fan and last year she had attended one of his concerts at Mohegan Sun. She had her picture taken with him and had mentioned how nice of a person he was. This summer, Bo Bice had another concert in July and Caroline was not able to attend due to her illness, so Bo Bice had actually telephoned her to talk with her and wish her well and to even extend a pray at the end of their conversation

She is the wife of the late Mr. Mark J. Gallagher who passed in 2006.

She is survived by her two daughters:

Audrey G.H. Feliciano of Lawrence, MA.

Amy and her husband Thomas Salafia of Sandown, N.H.

Her grandchildren: Ceara and her husband Scott Hunt, Bernard Silva, Melissa Cattabriga and Mark Silva and Stephanie Feliciano. Great grand children: Kacilynn Feliciano, Kenneth Hunt, Caroline Hunt, and Anabelle Cattabriga.

Her Sisters: Ann Worster of Methuen, MA., Helen Cross of Winchester, MA., Wanda Trzcinski of Methuen, MA., Lillian Morin of Windham, NH

Her sisters-in-law: Jane Melia of Methuen, MA. and Barbara Gallagher of North Andover, MA.

Sister to the late: Michael Grusheck

Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church/Corpus Christi Parish in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

A burial will follow in St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
