Evelyn Rita (Camara) Glasgow formerly O’Dell, age 84, passed away in Fall River September 18, 2009. Wife of Alexander Glasgow for 18 years and wife of the late Earl R. O’Dell for over 30 years. She was the daughter of the late Manuel and Lillian (Bailey) Camara. She was a retired seamstress in the local needle trade and a member of St. Joseph Parish. She loved her home, decorating, crocheting, dancing and her family.
Besides her husband, she is survived by 3 children: David O’Dell and his wife Isabel of Virginia Beach, VA, Ralph O’Dell of Pawtucket and Carol Winters and her husband Thomas of S. Attleboro; 1 step-son: Alexander Glasgow and his wife Cindy of Cape Cod; 4 siblings: Clifford Camara of E. Providence, Ernest Camara of Somerset, William Camara of Washington and Grace Francoeur of Fall River; 5 grandchildren: Arlene, David, Amy, Sandra and Tom; 1 step-granddaughter: Kirsten; 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St., Fall River WEDNESDAY at 9 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church, N. Main St., Fall River at 10 A.M. Interment in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Calling hours TUESDAY 5-9 P.M.
