James “Jimmy” Sullo, of Everett, formerly of Medford, died Friday at the Whidden Memorial Hospital. He was 81.
Raised in Medford, he was the son of the late Peter and the late Frances (Barber) Sullo. After graduating from Medford High School, Jimmy served with the Navy during World War II and was a long-time member of the Italian-American Veterans, Medford Post. Jimmy worked as a bartender throughout the Boston area until his retirement.
Brother of the late Alfonse and Edward Sullo, Jimmy was a loving uncle to Robert P. Sullo, Bonnie G. Hoarn, Marie F. Smith, Barbara E. Miliano and many great nieces and nephews.
His funeral Service will be conducted Monday at 10:30 AM in the chapel of the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home Sunday from 4-8.
