WEBSTER – Lawrence J. Liseno, Sr., age 77, of 96 Slater Street, died Wednesday, September 16, in UMass/Memorial Healthcare, Worcester. His wife of 40 years, Shirley (Taylor) Liseno, died in 1996.
He leaves 3 children, Deborah Morrison and her husband James Morrison, Sr. of Webster, Doreen Patel of Bridgeport, CT, and Lawrence J. Liseno, Jr. and his wife Brenda A. Liseno of Webster; 5 grandchildren, Amber Morrison, James Morrison, Jr., Zachory Patel, Jacob Liseno and Kyle Liseno; a brother Bruce Liseno of Oxford; 3 sisters, Maria Stuart and Joanne Liseno both of Las Vegas, NV and Brenda Riopel and her husband Robert Riopel of Worcester; nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by 4 sisters, Gloria Tominni, Joyce Resseguie, Dawn Driscoll and Diane Liseno and by 3 brothers, Gerry, Dominic, and Barry Liseno.
He was born in Worcester, the oldest son of Lorenzo and Viola (Gerard) Liseno and lived there for most of his life, moving to Webster in 2007.
Mr. Liseno retired as the plant manager of the former Eagle Electroplating in Worcester in 1993. He loved to golf and was a former member of the Holden Hills Country Club in Holden.
The funeral will be held Monday, September 21, from Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be from 3:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday, September 20, in the funeral home.
