Ruth Ann (Poschen) Daly, of Methuen died on Tuesday, September 15, 2009. She was 67 years old.
Born in New Rochelle, New York, on November 22, 1941, she lived in Rye, New York and graduated from Rye High School, class of 1959. She als attended Sacred Heart College in Alabama. Ruth raised her children in South Carolina and Stoughton, Massachusetts. She also had lived in Foxboro and Florida. She was a salesperson most of her life, selling real estate and computer electronics. She loved gardening, crafts and spending time with her family.
Ruth was formerly married to Fintan E. Daly Jr., with whom she had three beautiful children. She was predeceased by her beloved soulmate, Henry O. Gonzales. Ruth is survived by her children, Catherine and her husband, Travis Blair of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania, Edward and his wife Audrey Daly of France and Yorktown, Virginia and Betsy Daly of North Attleboro, sisters Kathryn and her husband Jack Will of Clarkston, Michigan, Barbara and her husband John Deyermond of Fort Worth Texas, Gay and her husband Robert Asmega of Dublin California, Christine and her husband Raymond Metzemaekers of Methuen and Patricia McGrath of Bradford, grandchildren, Brent Blair, Maggie, Joe and Libby Daly and Jesse and Meaghan Provost and fourteen nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, on Friday, September 18, from 4 to 8 PM. Her funeral service followed at 8 PM.
