Crofwell, Clare M. of Quincy, died on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at the age of 57. Daughter of the late Gerard F. and Margaret Mary (Dempsey) Crofwell. Sister of James B. Crofwell of Santa Fe, NM, William G. Crofwell of Milton, Richard F. Crofwell of Quincy and Geraldine Kelley of East Bridgewater. Aunt of Michael & Richard Kelley and Susan Ponte.
Clare was born in Boston and moved to Quincy in 1965. She graduated from Fontbonne Academy in Milton then Mount St. Mary's College in Hooksett, New Hampshire and received her Masters degree from Simmons College. Clare worked for Hub Mail and later for CMG as a computer librarian, like her mother Clare was an avid reader. Clare enjoyed taking walks at the beach. She was a caring sweet person who will be sadly missed by her family.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Saturday morning in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY from 9 -10am. Funeral Mass in Saint Agatha's Church, Milton at 10:30 AM. Burial in Mount Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
