Worcester - Claire (Lacroix) Brunelle, 76 formerly of Canterbury Street died on Friday August 15 in the Hermitage Nursing Home after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 54 years, Henri Brunelle; five sons David P. Brunelle and John J. Brunelle both of Worcester, Henri H. Brunelle Jr. of Cherry Valley, Alan R. Brunelle and Gary K. Brunelle both of Charlton; three daughters Carole A. Benson and Jo-Anne Yost both of Webster and Susan C. Fearrington of Kapoli, Hawaii; four sisters Jeannette Scheurer of Templeton, Mabel Hmura of Naples, FL, Florence Desaulniers of Moosup, CT and Gertrude Richard of Shrewsbury; 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester daughter of Joseph and Adelia (Boudreau) Lacroix.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 19 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond Street with a mass at 10 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 53 Illinois Street. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Mausoleum. Calling hours are Monday, August 18 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
