Robert Omer Giguere, age 68, of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009 at Lowell General Hospital.
He was born in Lowell on Nov. 8, 1941, son of Marion (Landry) Giguere of Dracut and the late Wilbord Giguere. Robert was a union carpenter most of his life and enjoyed fishing and boating in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.
Besides his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Robin McInnis and her husband Bill and Tricia Robey and her husband Eric, all of New Hampshire; three grandchildren, Ashley McInnis, Eric Robert and Ariel Robey; his brothers and sisters, Jacqueline Chausse of Dracut, Pearl Nickles and her husband Harold of Windham, NH, Paul Giguere of Concord, MA, Rita Giguere and Donald Giguere both of Dracut, Linda Been and her husband Tim of Colorado, Al Giguere of Cape Cod, Lucille Page and her husband David of Dracut, and David Giguere and his wife Amy of Troy, NH; his loving companion, Debra LeRiche of Lowell; also 22 nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family, there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to his Funeral Mass on Saturday morning, Oct. 17 at 10 o'clock at Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish (Ste. Therese Church) Dracut. A reception will follow in the parish hall.
