MANCHESTER-Edward R. Roy, 55, died September 13, 2009 at his home following a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on January 19, 1954 the son of Paul Emile and Theresa R. (Morin) Roy and had been a lifelong resident of this city,
He had worked for Cush Craft as an assembler.
He loved playing his bass guitar.
Members of his family include two sisters, Estelle Accala of Rock Hill, SC, Paula Roy of Manchester, four brothers, Philip Roy, Louis Roy both of Manchester, Robert Roy of Rock Hill, SC and Guy Roy of Manchester, three nephews and several cousins.
SERVICES:Calling hours will be Wednesday from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at the J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 AM in Parish of the Transfiguration. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
