Margaret M. “Maggie” Byron, 56, a lifetime resident of Stoughton, died Sunday, September 13, at the McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich after a short illness. She was the daughter of Anna E. (McGrath) Byron and James P. Byron of Dennis. Born in Boston, she was raised in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton Schools. She worked as a Telecommunications Operator for Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for many years.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her siblings: Dennis W. Byron and his wife Judy of Milford, Kate Byron of Dennis and Patrick J. Byron and his wife Jan of Stoughton. She is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Thursday, September 17 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 5-7 PM. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
