M. Denise Lewis Ring, 51 of Ocilla, died Monday, September 14 at the Coffee Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla with Elder Mickey Harris officiating. Visitation will be held 7-9 Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Denise was born June 2, 1958 in Irwin County to LaFaye Payne Leinar and the late Ira L. Lewis. She lived in Irwin County most of her life. Denise was a 1976 honor graduate of Wheeler High School in Marietta, a graduate of ABAC in Secretarial Science and of East Central Technical College with a LPN degree and a Medical Transcriptionist degree. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Fitzgerald.
She is survived by her mother: LaFaye Payne Leinar of Ocilla; son: Robby Mitchell of Ocilla; sisters and brothers-in-law: Anna & Ken Moates of Braselton and Paula & Robert Garrett of Tucker; nephews: Zach and Kelly Moates and Sam Henrich; nieces: Stella & Nora Garrett
