Sharon L. (Pudsey) Batista, age 57, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009 at her home in Lowell. She was the beloved wife of Michael Batista.
Sharon was born in Lowell on March 30, 1952, the daughter of Eugene and Lillian (Farmer) Pudsey of Brookline, NH. She was a longtime resident of Lowell and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Lowell.
Sharon was artistically talented and enjoyed quilting and sewing.
Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by her children, Michael Glennon of Lowell, Erin Mecum and her husband Timothy of Carmi, Illinois, Isaac Nadreau and his companion, Christina Demont and Jody Nadreau, all of Dracut; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Anthony Polk of Littleton, Rachel and Gary Lessard of Hudson, NH, and Denise and Robert Proulx of Cambridge, VT; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Ernest Pudsey of Westford, Ronald and Pamela Pudsey of Thompson, CT, William and Sharon Pudsey of Shirley and Eugene Pudsey of Brookline, NH; four grandchildren, Isaac, Jacob, Makayla and A-Starra; her mother-in-law, Josephine Batista of Pelham; a sister-in-law, Catherine Hufsmith and her husband Willis of Stuarts Draft, VA; also many nieces, nephews, two great nieces and two great nephews.
At the request of the family, there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, Sept. 19th at 11:30am at the Mt. Pleasant Country Club in Lowell.
