Obituary


Mr. Raymond Corriveau, of Taunton and Palmyra, Maine, died Friday, September 11 in the Life Care Center of Raynham, following a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Cecile C. (Morin) Corriveau and the late Mary J. (Martin) Colleran Corriveau. He was born 97 years ago in Laconia, N.H., the son of the late Felix and Mary (Fecteau) Corriveau. He was educated in Laconia and had been a Taunton resident for most of his life. Prior to his retirement, he had owned and operated Ray’s Garage on Fremont Street in Taunton for many years. He was previously employed as head mech-
anic for the former Al Smith’s Auto Dealership in Taunton. Following retirement, Mr. Corriveau relocated to Palmyra, Maine, where he operated a farm. He was a member of the Taunton Lodge of Elks, and enjoyed farming and spending time with his family. He
attended the former St. Paul’s Church in Taunton and Holy Family Church in East Taunton.
He leaves:
1 son: George A. Corriveau of Roslindale
1 daughter: Marguerite I. Colleran and her husband, Allan J., of Taunton
1 sister: Yvette Katinas of Bethesda, Md.

several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews
Mr. Corriveau was also the father of the late Richard Corriveau of Lakeville and the late Paul Corriveau of Taunton.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street,
Taunton, on Monday, September 14 at 8:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in Holy Family Church, East Taunton at 9:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the Life Care Center of Raynham Activities Fund, 546 South St. E., Raynham, Ma., 02767.
