FRAMINGHAM - Bernice F. (Kaufman) Lampke, 78, formerly of Brighton, died Wednesday, September 9, 2009 following a short illness. She was the wife of the late Herbert Lampke.
Born in Chelsea, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Pearl (Chasin) Kaufman. Raised and educated in Brighton, she was a graduate of the Leslie Teachers College.
Mrs. Lampke was a resident of Framingham for many years while raising her family. She was an avid reader, and being very artistic, she enjoyed acting with the Sudbury Players, playing the piano, writing, and painting.
She is survived by her daughter, Alison Lampke of Marblehead, her son, Robert Lampke of Southbridge and several nieces and nephews.
A service will be held Monday, September 14, 2009 at 2 pm at family lot at the Harmony Grove Cemetery, 30 Grove Street, Salem, 01970, to be followed by a collation at the Lampke residence, 14 Mount Vernon St., Marblehead, MA 01945.
