Riley C. Matyczynski, age 5, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009 at Childrens Hospital in Boston from injuries sustained from an accidental fall.
Riley was born in Nashua on November 7, 2003. He was the beloved son of Jennifer Motard and Robert Matyczynski, Jr.
Riley was ready to start kindergarten this coming Tuesday at the Morey School in Lowell. He enjoyed playing with his toy cars, trucks and his scooter. When he grew up, Riley wanted to become a fireman, policeman or race car driver.
Besides his loving parents, he is survived by his brother, Anthony Matyczynski of Lowell; his grandparents, William and Betsy Motard of Milford, NH and Karen and Dennis Williams of Alabama and Robert and Judith Matyczynski, Sr. of Nashua: his great grandparents, Frances McKee of Nashua, Raymond and Frances Smith of Farmington, NH, and Forrest Williams of Methuen; his aunts and uncles, Christopher Motard of Lowell, Joshua Motard of Milford, NH, Courtney Motard of Dracut, Kaitlyn Motard of Milford, NH, and Michael and Erin Matyczynski of Nashua; also many great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Monday, Sept. 7 from 2 to 6pm. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish (Ste. Therese Church) Dracut. FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
