John Rodrigues, 77, of Westport passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at home. Born in Fall River, son of the late Antone and Mary (Calvo) Rodrigues, he was a lifelong resident of Westport. Prior to retirement, he worked for the Town of Westport School Department. Mr. Rodrigues enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include a son: John Rodrigues, Jr. of Westport; 2 daughters: Nancy Dubois of Swansea and Debra Reed of Dartmouth; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Gail M. Rodrigues.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Sunday, September 6, 2009 at the Potter Funeral Home at 2:30 P.M.
Calling hours will be from 1 - 2:30 P.M. prior to the service.
Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
