Father Dan, as he was affectionately known, conducted extensive missionary outreach over the course of his ministry; the first in Inagua, Bahamas and then Pine Ridge Reservation, S. D. and later the Parish of Nambutamba, Uganda.

He retired with his wife to Bear Creek, Pa. where he enjoyed working as an associate pastor in St. Stephen's Church, Wilkes Barre, Pa. He also was the president of REACH Inc., a homeless ministry.
