WORCESTER__Albin P. Skamarock 82, of 100 Moreland St., formerly of 16 Ashmont Ave., died August 11 in St. Vincent Hospital.
He leaves two sisters, Helen E. Seymour of Clinton and Rita F. Skamarock of Worcester and nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by three brothers, John Kasheta, Anthony Skamarock and John Skamarock. He was born and raised in Worcester, son of William and Benigna (Luksis) Skamarock.
Mr. Skamarock was a snowplow operator many years for Mass. Dept. of Public Works – Mass Highway and retired several years ago. He was an Army veteran of WW II and served in Normandy, the Rhineland and Central Europe.He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School.
He was a member of Our Lady of Vilna Church and the PNI Club.
The funeral will be held on Thursday August 14 from Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward St.,(www.worcesterfuneral.com) with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Vilna Church 151 Sterling St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
