CORLEY, CHARLES M. "CHARLIE," 88, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009.
A native of Muhlenberg County, KY, he was born, February 27, 1921, in Graham, KY. to John B. Corley and Flora Haley Corley.
He was a 30 year employee of B.F. Goodrich, a member of Target Walkers Club, a member of Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Church and Our Lady Help of Christians and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Isabelle F. Cambron Corley; two daughters, Charlesetta Sneed (Andy) and Patricia Denkoff (Dallas); and one son, William C. Corley (Miriam); several grandchildren; two nephews, Wayne Corley and Charles Louis Merkley; and two nieces, Lolita Adams and Karen Grigsby.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Sts. Simon & Jude, 4335 Hazelwood Avenue, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
