Barbara Ann Shuss, 67, of Summerville, died Monday, August 31, 2009 at Summerville Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, September 4, 2009 at 11 o’clock at Old Fort Baptist Church, 10505 Dorchester Road, Summerville.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any local SPCA.
Mrs. Shuss was born March 9, 1942 in Ohio, daughter of the late Norman and Gladys Ladd. She was a graduate of Bedford High School and attended Lakeland Community College in Ohio. She was a member of Old Fort Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She enjoyed crafts and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Dawn and Todd Miles of North Charleston, Suzette and Greg Reese of Woodbridge, Virginia, Robert MacDonald of Alexandria, Virginia, Donny and Crystalyn MacDonald of Summerville and Michael MacDonald of Summerville.
5 grandchildren: Keri, Patrick, Shannon, Tristan, Cameron and one on the way.
Her 2 dogs: Rusty and Clyde and many cousins.
