HENDRICKS, FLOYD RAVUEL, 79, of Louisville, passed away Friday, August 28, 2009.
He was born April 29, 1930 in Ravenna, KY to William And Nellie Hendricks. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from the U.S. Naval Ordnance plant in Louisville after 35 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Stanley and Ray Hendricks.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Virginia Hunt Hendricks; his son, John Hendricks of Louisville; his two daughters, Etta Flora (Wayne), of Liberty Township, OH and Angela Davis (Brian) of Bangkok, Thailand; his six grandchildren, John Jr. (Susan); Jaime, Amy (Ben), Steven, Emerson and Carly; his great granddaughter, Katie; and his sister, Juanita Brougham.
His service will be noon Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation is 3-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
