Kieran M. Mahon, 60, a resident of Lawrence, MA., formerly of Boston, MA., passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Born in Charlestown, County Mayo Ireland, Kieran came to Boston in 1972 and then to Lawrence in 1996. He had worked for the Lawrence Housing Authority and prior to that had worked for the Eire Pub in Boston for many years. Kieran represented County Mayo in Gaelic Football and won many championships with his beloved Mayo. He was a proud member of the Division 8 A.O.H.

his wife: Helen (Deegan) Mahon of Norwood, MA.
a brother: Thomas Mahon of Ireland
sisters: Meta Scott and Pauline Marren both of Ireland.
Kieran is also survived by several nieces and nephews among whom is Colie Ryan and his wife Kathleen of Methuen as well as several grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Patrick's Church, 118 South Broadway, Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, also in Lawrence.
