Theresa M. L. (Talbot) Morin, age 95 died Friday, August 28, 2009, at the Masconomet Health Care in Topsfield. She was a life long resident of Salem.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Anna (Harrison) Talbot. In the early 1950’s, Theresa worked for the former Marquis Cleaners of Salem. She later worked for Salem Old Fashioned Candies from 1956 until her retirement in 1978. Theresa was a devoted member of the former St. Joseph Parish and member of the Third Order of Mary and Les Dames de la Ste. Famille.
Theresa was a quiet, gentle woman who enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved reading and was an avid Celtics and Red Sox fan.
She is survived by a son, Richard E. Morin and his wife Judith of Sarasota, FL, 5 grandchildren, Tracy Dubois of Rochester, NH, Douglas Morin of Middleton, Duane Morin and Paula Morin McHale, both of Danvers and Matthew Morin of Nashua, NH., 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and was predeceased by her devoted son Roland E. Morin and grandson Richard Morin and 4 Sisters, Annie Caron, Alma Dallaire, Blanche Senechal & Edith Dionne, 7 brothers, Edmond, Jr., Hector, Armand, Rosario ‘Stewie’, Omer, Albert & Arthur Talbot.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 8 a.m., to be followed by her funeral mass in Ste. Anne Church, Salem at 9 a.m. Visiting hours: Monday 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
