Arthur J. "Pete" Lambert Jr., age 66, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, August 23, 2009. He was the beloved husband of Karen Forget-Lambert with whom he was married for 15 years.
Born In Lowell, June 12, 1943 a son of the late Arthur J. and Doris (L'Heureux) Lambert Sr. Mr. Lambert resided in Lowell and he loved spending time with his family, friends, neighbors and pets.
Prior to his retirement he was employed as a chef for the Solomon Mental Health Center in Lowell.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Christine West and her partner Thomas Newcomb of Dracut, Scott Lambert and his wife Amy of Georgia, Jennifer (Lambert) Davis and her husband Scott of Lowell, his step-daughter, Laurie LeDuc-Smith and her husband Keith of Boston; his sisters Diane Robarge and her husband Raymond of Dracut and Pauline Deschenes and her husband Butch of Dracut; a brother-in-law Bud Forget of Dunstable; his 5 grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Robert Lambert and Donna Carignan.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at the M.R. Laurin & Son Funeral Home, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell, on Wednesday August 26 from 4 to 8 P.M. to which relatives and friends are respectfully invited. All other services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the American Lung Association, 1 Abbey Lane, Middleboro, MA 02346.
